Well, since you machined the flywheel and got a new clutch kit, I'd wait until some clutch material transfers and "seasons" both friction surfaces before I start pulling everything apart.

It wont burn off easily. Oil will seep into the disc material and ruin it over time. Is a light film worth taking it all apart now? I dont know. Are you sure your clutch disk isnt backwards?1987 Delphin 325e Sedan - Natalie

Yea clutch disc is installed the right way around.
I'm getting a light chatter when clutch is fully engaged, thinking it's the tob rubbing the pressure plate, which would disengage the clutch a little bit. Thought I had a perfect bleed but I'll try again.Comment
