Pretty sure there would be an insurance implication with deleting ABS on a street car?!?!

I know I get a discount for having ABS. If you were in a wreck and they noticed you had deleted it without changing your policy, you may be SOL!

but if he did mention a seat belt im sure someone would talk about babies in his car, i mean if there is babies in the street maybe there is one in his car too under his cross hair

you're right, didn't think about babies, there was a lot of babies hit this year with cars that didn't have factory abs.

and can you imagine the fatalities that will occur once the OP rids his abs? what if the mother has TWINS

WHAT IF ITS THE OCTOMOM ? holy shit. KEEP THAT ABS STRAPPED IN THE CAR THERE IS BABIES AT RISK

i thought that getting on someone's ass about weather* or not to delete abs out of THEIR car was kind of silly, but getting mad that someone else is gonna take A/C out of their ride is HILARIOUS.

The guys crying about the A/C being deleted are probably the same guys who say "HEY DON'T BREATHE NEXT TO MY BMW" hahaha with their bmw hats on

yeah and so is removing your airbag, i need your help to hit up every topic about swapping out airbag wheel for an M tech or aftermarket wheel without an airbag, we need to stop everybody in their tracks because they might have the feds at the door any minute !

all im saying is , people drive cars without ABS that came that way from the factory.... I think SOME of you are over reacting a little bit like its some kind of killing machine out to eat babies. If that was the case I and hundreds of thousands of others are just DAMN lucky we didn't crash from not having ABS

For the record, I believe one could argue the same points (made in this thread) for our swapped engines.............

Again... Anyone know how the break lines would have to be configured without the ABS?

The same way they are now, just without the ABS.

To the OP, just relocate it. I moved mine to under where it originally was and and it looks great. You wouldn't even know it was there. Plus it allows you to hide all the brake lines and get them out of the engine bay as well.

                      Welp, here it is kid.

If you need a forum to vote for you to take out ABS or not, you should keep it in.

I have driven the car on the track and off the track without ABS and I have not killed any babies. I took it out because it was not working and I wanted a better pedal feel/ make a nice spot for an airbox. The pros outweighed the cons for me, plus it doesn't rain too much in AZ so i dont have to worry about it.

There are pros and cons for both situations, but choose the pros and cons that apply to you and your build and decide.

I also dont have A/C and I live in AZ.

That is, no shit, the smartest thing I've read yet on this forum. The day I ask you bunch of baggypants what to do on my car is the day I sell it.

Very sweet relocation, I might have to do that to mine but if the ABS is removed, the lines cannot stay as the are.. The MC feeds the ABS with the two lines and then the ABS feeds the front with 2 lines and the rear with 1.

You would need to add a T into the front line is all. When the ABS isn't working, that's really all it is.
