I only get it in first and reverse. For example, when I'm in first, and start releasing the clutch to go to second, thats when it starts to shake until I shift to second. Same as reverse. I shift to reverse and when I release the clutch it shake, worse than when in first. Notice it a little when in second and third but not as vioent as in when I hit first or reverse. Hard to explain

Does this CSB look good? I bought it from PelicanParts but looks like shit. Also bearing is not straight. Called PelicanParts for a replacement but want to make sure it's not just me.

How does the CSB go? Backwards? I don't remember. I have a e36 driveshaft and the e30 CSB. Anyone have pics on how it goes. Also pics of how the dust caps/support plates go? Need to get this car running againComment

Verify in the car before you install. On an E36 driveshaft its opposite of what its supposed to be but either way the DS should be 'kinked' towards the passenger side of the car
As far as your vibe issue, sounds kind of like clutch chatter? Dunno.

No, it's not clutch chatter, I don't think.
Well I finally put everything back together. Car runs like a champ as before but I still have the clunk/vibration. Doesn't really do it as bad in first no more but in reverse it's still there. Changed the CSB and replace my custom shifter linkage with the e30 320 euro linkage. Also what would cause the gears to be hard and not smooth? I thought it would be my fluid and I replaced it but they're not smooth like butter.Comment
