    2.5l and 1/8th. I wish there was a 1/4 somewhere close to me :(

I only got a slow 9.6 @ 74.74 because I had NO traction. I spun 1,2 and 3. It doesn't help that the tires that came on the new wheels have diff back tires w/ diff amts of tread or that I have a 6 puck clutch. Also the wilks is known for have horrible traction in general...

9.6 isn't too bad but its not what I was hoping for. I really wanted to get into the low 9's or high 8's. I must say though its the first time I have ever drag raced, but it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. But I am getting some azenis this weekend so hopefully when I make it back out I can get some better #'s.

I dynoed 215rwhp with my AFR very rich at probably near 8 to 1 the reading fell right through the bottom of the chart which ended at 10 . I was running 21.5lb injectors with no tuning it was a little torqier down low but pigish up top . I am gonna get dynoed again with the stock injectors which have been ever since i wasted money on that dyno

Has to be crank, never dynoe'd the car - I found a 506 DME for the build date for my engine and it revs super flat out smooth when you press on it...still my my idle issues on awhile but i hear it is common on the S50 engine....got my T chip which should bump up the idle because of the L/F I have...got the 3.5 HFM, I'll test and post #'s next week, waiting for my 3.5 adaptor from siliconeintakes.com

I ran my car last night. Forgot how not fun drag racing is, so this will probably be the only time I post times.

The story: Strip located 1000' above sea level. Tried using r-comps to get a good launch, but have massive wheel hop and couldn't break a 2.3.

                60'- 2.304

                ET- 14.089

                MPH- 101.7

                The car:

                US-S50 w/ ZF tranny and 2.93LSD
                225/50/14 tires
                243rwhp

After this night, I realized how unreliable 1/4 mile times are on basing how fast a car really is. I really like the idea of using a VBox and doing 60-130 mph times. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...highlight=vbox

It takes a car's/driver's launching ability out of the equation.

Good time to post the fun I had last night.
So, I got to run a buddy of mine in his C6 'Vette. He runs 12.80's consistently and is trapping like 118/117. Well, I just (Thursday) got my 225/50/15 BFG DR's mounted on a set of 5 series steelies (15x6.5 et20). I dropped the tire pressure down to 25 psi (then later dropped them to 23 psi and could feel a difference) even though I should have gone down to 20 psi. Did my burnout, then lined up. Turned on the launch control, brought it up to 4000 and then went. I spun in first up until about 6500-6700. I 60 footed the shit out of him and had him all the way through the 1/8. After that, he pulled around me pretty good and at the end of the 1/4, he had me by like 2-3 car lengths. When I crossed the 1/4 mark my MPH was between 105 and 110, wasn't paying that much attention to the speedo.
I look at it this way, once I get my tire pressure in the sweet spot and get the launch control at the correct RPM, then I should be able to pull sub 1.8 60 foot times, as long as I don't snap any axles. There is a test and tune all day next sunday that I am going to hit up after the AutoX gets over with. That will allow me to figure out tire pressure, launch control, maybe play around with the flat shift feature, and I should be able to find the sweet spot. I'll post it up Sunday evening when I get back.

Note: I don not recommend street racing. It can be hazardous to your health, and the health of others. Take what I have said lightly.

...that's pretty much all the things that can account to my horsepower gains, but I also have 24# injectors.

My engine has always made higher than average power, so don't assume you'll make the same amount with same mods. My friend with very similar mods on his s52 E36 M3 dynoed only 247rwhp, but also has Schrick cams, BBTB and UUC underdrive pullies. :p

My best of 2 runs was a 9.2. The clip came off my gas pedal at the end leaving me with only half throttle.

1/8 mile tracks suck! Too bad they closed LACR, the only 1/4 mile track around.
