Also, long tube headers and 2.5" exhaust, which probably don't do anything. The v710's hooked up very good. Clutch drop at about 4k and go. It actually bogged a bit.

Don't remember, but it wasn't good. 2.2 or something, probably.

So I just read this entire thread. I had pretty much laid out what all I wanted to do to my e30 make it do ok at the track; M50 with mods, some weight reduction, but after seeing all these 15 second runs(My Stock engine 93 teg did 15.01) I think I will be doing a LOT more thinking beforehand.

If you make up a competent intake system and have a good running M50, a proper rear end for your transmission, know how to shift and launch you'll be into the 14s, if you've got M3 cams in a VANOS motor and a proper tune you'll probably be in the low 14s. Certainly faster than mid 15s.

I'll be taking my M50 car to a strip when I get it sorted, I'm very curious to accurately gauge how quick it is.paint sucks

Weight reduction off the rear end makes things worse at the strip. Weight off the front end, seats and wheels will be the most beneficial.Check out Undr8d Empire on Facebook: www.facebook.com/Undr8dEmpireLlc
