I don't know that it's worth replacing the C101. is it wired directly into your harness or is it an adapter?

Right now it's just a pigtail that I cut from the old m20 harness. I'm in the process of hardwiring it to the m50 harness.

Alright I traced the brown wire from pin 12 (c101) to the dme connector and its going to pin 15 on the dme (153) the wire also had black tape on it.

Alright so I found the pinout chart and pin 15 IS apparently the CEL so it seems like everything is in place. Could it just be that the factory accidently used the brown wire (read that the 318 uses brown) instead of the gray?

and does anyone have a good chart? or can someone confirm that the Garagistic/RMEuro charts are correct?

wait? is this an M20 harness?

it really doesn't matter what wires are on the M20 harness. buy new pins, crimp them onto your M50 harness, and plug them into the right holes on an empty C101 connector.

yeah its the m20 harness. i think ill try that way cause this way is proving to be a massive headache. I was planning on just matching and splicing the wires together

actually it looks like its 40 bucks for a new set of pins so im still probably gonna go the splice route. It also seems like it would be easier to troubleshoot down the road (after I figure out wth is going on with it haha)

Anyone care to check over this? Got the x20 info from RMeuropean

This is what my pin 2 and 10 are going to. Assuming o2 sensor but correct me if I'm wrong.

*edit* I actually dont think its 02 cause its near the alt wires. anyone know what it is?

Alright awesome I think I have this almost figured out! Last questions are does it matter that pin 15(starter wire thin) is missing and how exactly is the best way to tap into the c104? Should I just run 3 wires from them to the x20?

iirc, thin is only for accessory inhibit/interrupt during cranking.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if i am mistaken.
