Good job so far. No matter what "brain" it has, as long as your happy then fuck the haters!

looks quite a bit rich in the low end. I'm guessing you just wanted a baseline?

wagan is simply ranting about everyone calling themselves a tuner and at the same time everyone going on and on about how OBD1 is 'better' when it is exactly the opposite.

If thats what youre running and it works for you then cool no harm no foul, theres nothing massively wrong with it, but saying OBD1 is better is untrue. It may be 'better' for you for cost, tuning, etc reasons but calling it better generally is untrue.

Edit: and to the OP, not sure if its your 'turbo cams' or your tune but i figured youd be able to squeeze more out of an M52. I have seen plenty of ~190 whp dynos on SE36 motors which are bone stock cast manifolds M50's. And as i mentioned your A/F when vanos is engaging/disengaging leaves something to be desired. not sure whats up there.

I never said OBD 1 was better that's just what I'm running & no plans on going OBD 2 & I'm fine with it. Just some ppl don't understand that not everyone needs the best of everything when other stuff works just as well. Yeah my cams are holding me back I'm sure I could squeeze out another 20 HP +/- with s52 cams & more cleaning up the tune

Is the Cometic stock thickness or .140 to lower compression..?

                    I made 194 hp and 181 ft/lbs on my m52

                    -OBD1
                    -M50 manifold
                    -original MAF
                    -stock cams
                    -21.5 injector
                    -trm chip
                    -12lb flywheel
                    -new victor reinz head gasket
-also had the incorrect temp sender for the ecu which probably wasnt helping. It was reading cold so running pretty rich
-oem obd2 exhaust manifold, no cats, single 2.5, vibrant ultra quiet resonator, vibrant muffler

I havent dynoed since I replaced the temp sender but I should be making a little more power since the air/fuel is better
