Mishimoto with 16" Spal Puller Fan Fitment

I am hoping someone can answer this for me. My stock e36 radiator is starting to leak and I want to replace it with a Mishimoto.

    Will a 16" Spal puller fit with an e36 3-series Mishimoto? http://vr-speed.com/store/mishimoto-...99-p-2103.html

If that won't work, can I go with the z3 Mishimoto radiator and a puller? http://vr-speed.com/store/mishimoto-...2-p-20098.html It appears to be 2.9" thick instead of 3.5" thick.

If neither will work I will just rotate the blade on the puller, remove the AC condenser, and run it in front. Thanks for the help.

      check this - http://massivebrakes.com/accessories...al_16_adapters

some people make their own adapters to make this work. i think janderson did it. not sure which fan he's running.

cancel that, they mounted them up front... - http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...adiator&page=2

maybe someone else will chime in.

if you don't have a/c, i'd pull the condenser out anyway and mount the fan up front. you're pretty limited on space for a puller fan however some guys are running mechanical fans. you'd have to search. keep in mind the mishimoto radiators are thicker than the m42 rads that a lot of people are running, reducing your space behind the rad even more.

I don't think you will have the room for a fan that thick, I went with these for just that reason http://dnamotoring.com/store/index.p...-mounting.html along with the CX racing aluminum rad, it just barely fits but it works very well.

Yeah I already have brackets to mount the Spal fan and the 16" fan. I am currently running it in front with a Bahr radiator. My question is will the fan fit? I guess I'll just buy a Mishimoto and figure it out lol. Thanks for trying to help :D

If you want another stock e36 radiator let me know and I'll sell you one inexpensively from my donor car. It looks immaculate. I can take pictures/video of it if you'd like.

Thanks for the offer but I think I have my mind set on the Mishimoto. I've heard great things about them from friends.

Not a problem. If you've got the funds I'd go for an aluminum radiator, as well. In fact, that's what I did :)

How do I mount the 16" spal pull fan in front of the condenser?

Do you track your e30? if so don't bother with a mishimoto.

Why not use the mishimoto rad with an S50/S52? Just curious, I'm planning out my build for an S52 and already have this radiator. Been tracking the M20 with this radiator the past 2 years and would like to plan ahead.

                            Also curious.

If spending the money is not an issue, it's peace of mind.
