    ah ok. yeah mine has Check control. so if i leave it unplugged, is it gonna have the check light on permanently?

      Yes the light will stay on. But it's not going to affect how your car drives.

          WOW what a huge difference between S14 and S50 lol.

          i am absolutely loving the car so far. still gotta tidy up bit of wiring and then ill take some pics. Huge thanks to my mate Bucko for the countless hours in the garage helping me!!

            got a couple of pics of the exhaust set up.
            also went and had a dyno done.. 216whp. this is running a aftermarket chip and vanos chip
            i have now put stock chips in and will do another dyno to compare the numbers and AFR.

            exhaust set up is as follows:
            LHD US m3 headers (ebay)
            stock section 2 (cats and middle muffler) from E36 M3
            Supercat rear muffler (surprisingly great sound IMO!)

              also installed a Dakota Digital unit, so now the tacho is working great :)
