This was the last picture I took of the engine bay. We were trouble shooting some spark issues. It's still being tuned so we haven't buttoned up the wiring yet. I'm not leaving it like that. Don't make an ass out of you and me.Leave a comment:

Current state (tuning)
Old dyno is the old plot that goes to redline. Tune so far is plot that just stops just past 4k.

I honestly feel the same way as a general rule. As long as it's fun who cares? Numbers are still cool to see on engines like yours that aren't done every day.Originally posted by valleymotorwerksIf I hit a number north of 275 I'll be happy but just like the OEM thing I really don't care where it dyno's as long as it's running optimally ad puts a smile on my face, which it does.Leave a comment:

Balanced and blueprinted, 11.5to1 JE pistons, custom cams, DR Vanos stage 2, WAR chip, one off custom exhaust with Rogue Engineering muffler, M50 manifold, S54 oil housing with cooler - she pulls HARD all the way to 8k rpm's. It's built to run about 8500 but I rev limit it to 8k.
What makes you think it's the same thing? Standing by for proof...Originally posted by Janderson
Standing by to hear how much you paid for a roll of that stuff, because they sell the exact same thing at Home Depot for $3.97 a roll.Leave a comment:

Just need to get a rail cover and finish my A/C install. I also ordered OEM BMW wire wrap for the harness, I hate exposed electrical tape.

Little something we've been working on at the shop. (Mattblack on here) All unnecessary brackets removed, seam sealer stripped, ABS deleted, then shot in the factory Sterling Silver with a flattened clear over it. Just need to mount the MAF, make a bracket for the diagnostic port and put on the hoses and it's ready to go.
