Wow! That's scary dirty man. It looks like you're not far from being able to grow things in that engine bay.

This thread is great. I just scrolled through the whole thing on a whim, and found pics of 4 or 5 different things that I needed to see. Keep posting, people! Work in progress shots are very valuable, too!

It's easier to run an electric fan in most cases. With the stock late model 325is radiator I didn't quite have room for a clutch fan, and didn't feel like messing with different combos to fit one. Just fit a pusher electric fan on the front of the rad. Cools just fine so far.

My ugly jawns, I need some more cloth tape to finish wrapping the harness and get the M3 covers.

                          alt. cooling set up...

I must admit I just NOW learned the alt. has a cooling intake snorkel set up...

I always saw the gaping hole above my alt. and never knew what it was.

My swap was completed last yr...and has 3 track days......no issues.

After looking thru this thread....Why did some/mos
t of you choose NOT to run the intake set up?..

                          is it superfluous?...

Any reason you didn't go with the M50 intake manifold?
