    93 525i 5speed vs 2/95 325i 5speed

Are these two EXACTLY the same, or could they be different?

Trans in my 525i has as shitty 2nd gear from previous owner, I basically have to "granny shift it" or skip 2nd and up-shift to 3rd when possible or it grinds.

There is a 2/95 325i with a 5speed, but I would like to know if they are exactly the same or not?

    Thanks!

Yes up to 7/1992 525 has ZF. 8/1992 has Getrag 250

Are these two EXACTLY the same, or could they be different?
if its 1993 then 525 will have the same Getrag 250 as all of E36 325i have. I think the output flange is different on 5 series but you can swap that.

Yes you can, but you got to use the corresponding driveshaft and shifter.
