Yea I've replaced and cleaned the maf. How bad does your fuel cut out at wot?If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!Comment

It cuts 100%. It might also cut spark but idk.
That's what happens. The fule cuts in and out then the car pulls to redlineLast edited by Plynch2; 12-02-2013, 09:30 AM.Comment

It's times like this that makes you wish the Ostrich could datalog!
I'm working on a plugin and piggyback circuit that will allow you to datalog with TPRT5 though, so keep an eye out for that!
Is there any way that either of you could hook a voltmeter to the fuel pump wires to monitor the power going to it while driving? Then you could try the ignition system, and then injection system. That way you can find out exactly what is falling flat.Last edited by squidmaster; 12-02-2013, 09:49 AM.Comment

Yea I can try to get to that tonight. I'm getting a fuel pressure gauge and a vacuum tester tonight so I'll test the fuel pump voltage as well while I'm in there. If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!Comment

what about injection and ignition though?
Is it always at the same RPM points?Comment

I jumped the relay and the pump maxed out at a little over 60 psi so it pumps out plenty. Got too late to actually start it and test the voltage so that's first on my list to do tomorrow along with testing vacuum. If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!Comment

Vacuum read at around 40 kpa (31-32 cmhg) going to test voltage while driving on the pump tonight when I get a passengerIf you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!Comment

Yea I've replaced the harness with an e34 harness I got from a working m50 swap my friend had. So it's not in the harness itself. I was thinking of adding an extra ground from the engine. Any locations that you guys recommend putting one at?If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!Comment
