Ok as for the MC using a 25mm one can any one answer the question on if you can use the E36 325 MC i have one but i dont know that much about them if they are 25mm or if you can posibly use it ??? and does it make it easier if i dont have abs (for some reason it just wanst put in my car, theres not light and not pump and i can lock all four tires up) so im hoping that makes this a little easier.
You can use the stock one from the ix. If I were you, I would just fork over the money for 25mm mc from an e28 m5 or e32 750il.

[quote=Bimmer335is;649829 I also suggest upgrading the MC to the e34 m5 one, or any 25mm one, for added performance since your already there.

All thats left to do is reroute your abs hard lines.[/quote]

If you have searched correctly and read enough, the reason you need a remote reservior with ix or e32 735i booster is because you have to make room for the intake boot. The reservior interfere's with the intake, and since you cannot reroute the intake, but can reroute the reservior, you need a remote reservior.

There are many solutions to the problem. Some use remote res using dsm stuff and make custom lines. Others use the '93 to '95 540i or 530i (which are the same) remote reservior and grommets and find a place to mount it near the strut tower.

I used the 540i remote reservior and cut the end's off the hard lines about 2 inch's from the end of each and put a more plyable rubber line on it to reroute it, because the hard lines that come with the 540i remote res are a pain to route. I also suggest upgrading the MC to the e34 m5 one, or any 25mm one, for added performance since your already there.

All thats left to do is reroute your abs hard lines.

So if i use the E30 325ix brake booster, I can or cant use my stock MC???
Or if it is posible can i use the MC i have from the E36 325 ???
And whats the deal with the remote resivor, im confused on why you need the remote res unless its jsut to make room for the intake thats all i could see right?

    Uh

Ok i just want to clarify that if i use the 325 ix brake booster i have to get a master cylinder for the ix with a remote res, so that means i cant use my stock 325 master cylinder????
Idk but i just thought sence the ix was the same type of car kinda that i could just use the regular MC Im confused
