Would the noise ever go away if you would have just left it?

^ probably, but not before sending lots of dangerous metal shavings all through your engine.
definitely not a good idea to leave it like that for any period of time.

I am changing out my complete front suspension and have my engine suspended, having removed my baffle from my s52 engine before installation and not considering or remembering weather the was one on the pan.

I have been trying to install the stock s52 baffle and keep the e34 oil pan baffle

I misunderstood and thought mpowerful was talking about cutting off of the 3 tabs on the oil pan baffle since the pan wont fit with the riveted baffle, so i cut off the 3 tabs 1/4 inch like he said, now one side of the pan doesn't want to sit on the block.

im gonna shave some more of the riveted baffle and see if it fits.

should i just remove the riveted baffle all together or try fitting both in?

Drill off the riveted baffle altogether, you only need one and the s52 one has zero chance of interference.
