Getting some N/A M50 stroker power

I've recently been reading some m50 stroker threads over here and I have already started doing some info work.
As I live in france I have some pros/cons in comparison with USA

-I was looking for a m52 crank and rods for my m50tu and make some around 11,25CR,lightweight aux pulleys and already installed m20 shaved flywheel,W.A.R. chip,s50US cams and 3" single exhaust.

How do you feel about the idea? I was considering other 2 ways:

-Swapping an euro s50(286hp out of the box) +remap could be 300hp easily

Cons:only the engine + tranny + wiring could be around 3500$ easily and swapping it isn't as easy as my actual swap is.
Among these, legal stuff gets involved in here as there is no e30 with larger displacement than 2,5L so it would be a complete headache to make it legal for street use.

-m54b30 rotating assembly direct to my m50 block:
    I
've seen this stroker already over the forum but I don't feel like doing this before the m52 stroker,as the pieces are harder to find and I don't think the engine would feel as revvy as it would with the m52 way even with some more power.

So,about the initial stroker idea, I was thinking about the CR, in the US normal gas is about 89 or 91 RON, however, here in france the most common gas is 95RON and 98 is easily bought in some stations,so in order to use at least 95RON,how do you feel if I increase the CR near to 12 or 12,5:1? maybe it's too much?

Any input and opinions are always well received

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english :???:

The ron octane rating in the eu is different than octane in u.s. 95ron = 91 octane here.

        So it is even lower?

Well 91 octane here (95 ron) is high grade here in most places. Our normal here is 87 octane or 91 ron.

Building a stroker is a labor of love. All the little stuff you have to order to build one correctly can easily add up to as much as a more expensive drop in engine.

Start by planning out the build and pricing all the parts then go from there.

I was expecting to spend some about 2000$ building another engine.
Block, crank and rods, new gaskets and so on,so I can have it as second engine if the actual brakes or whatever

                e.
In Europe you have to register new engine serial number to the chassis, so it is not as simple doing engine swaps there than in free USA.

If you don't have an obd plug in the e30, how the hell is anyone the wiser. Why can't you just say its the stock engine? I would swap in the m powerplant and lie.

There are inspections to pass every year and an M powerplant is quite different so it is easy for they to notice,if they do and you lie, you're in trouble

can you register the M powerplant to your chassis?

if so it would be the most ideal, its much easier to not modify anything and use it 100% bmw factory stock. Less time also and easier to find replacement parts.

Technically yes, but,as the power increase is such high, they demand you to install a bigger brake set, suspension and so on so the chassis is in condition for such amount of power, and each modification means more money to get it registered on to the chassis,so a legal swap would be over 3000$ just in registrations,so it is not worth it.

I've tried to be as clear as possible 😅
