What ECU are you using? If it has EWS, then it wont fire

Is the fuel relay clicking over? If you use a jumper in place of the relay the fuel pump should fire up.

Are you getting power to the fuel pump fuse? (fuse #11)

Check the fuel lines, if they are backwards the pump may not start against the pressure of the regulator. (ask me how I know)

using a red label 402, which i didnt think had EWS?

how do you make a jumper? just an insulated wire to bridge?

dumb idea but, i took both lines off the rail cranked the engine and nothing no fuel from the lines.

i hear nothing from the pump even when cranking, where is the relay for it?
pin 13 (FP relay) on the body side is getting no power neither when the key is on nor when cranking

Used the multi meter, found the fp relay on the m50 harness, put the ground pin to a chassis ground and got 0 with the key on 7.2 when cranking, checked the green and purple wire (same as in the wire harness plug)

Jump pins 30 and 87 and you should hear the fuel pump kick on. Does fuel pump out when you jump the relay pins?
If not, check the main relay as well.

test for power at pump, it should come on with it jumped and ignition on. Hows the fuse?

Jumper from 30 to 87 on the relay when cranking the pump gets no power well no sound, could hook it to the mulit meter and find out what its getting, grabbed a spare pump I had, plugged it in and it didnt kick on either.

Checked fuses 9, 10, 11 and 21 and all are still in tact

These 2 wires off the diagnostic port lead go to ground right?

So stripped back some of the shielding on the wires... one was red... hooked it to power fuel pum now operational. But it still will not kick

Fuel is now getting all the way to the rail... but the return side of the rail is dry and the plugs are still bone dry so im thinking the fpr is not operating or am I wrong?
