Sunbelt makes some nice cams. I run them in my M3 track car. I don't have dyno numbers but its a quick car.

I agree an S54 makes more sense if you insist on 300WHP NA. However, cost of the engine and swap is much higher than the M52. The M52 is a junkyard motor that can be had cheap these days and are plentiful. That gives you a lot of room for modifications and the M52 swap is well documented. It could make sense depending on how much you can get things done for, especially if there's boost involved later.

Solo318, when the engine was being built we both expected it to be a top end only engine, but it makes a shit load of torque as well. Not sure if that has to do with the fact that it is a mild cam or if it is because it has 3.2 liters vs the 2.8 from the m52.
I look forward to getting the car on the dyno and seeing what it puts down and the powerbands.
Anyone can say what they think they have for power, but I am always skeptical if they don't post a dyno chart with it.
perhaps they were having issues as their may not have been supporting mods.

        Please share your results!

Doesn't seem that the s54 is making 300whp even with bolt on bits from my search and, the ones that do don't have a graph to prove it..

heaps of S54 making 300whp+ on m3 forums basically people seem to make upto 320-330whp with full bolt ons and 350whp with FBO+schricks. but they still make killer torque at 2500rpm to

seems like its mostly the re calibration tuning, Judging from this Epic know their stuff, Maybe it wouldn't hurt to give them a call

headers and tune usually ~290-300whp with 250tq with basically no effect on reliability
