OBD2 Manifolds on OBD1 Exhaust System

Since my car originally was m50 swapped, I used the OBD1 cast manifolds. After buying an m52 (m50 had a cracked block), I decided that I would like to use the OBD2 shorty headers. However, I was wondering if anyone knew if they would bolt right up to my existing exhaust, as it is built for the cast manifolds? It's a lot easier to know in advance then to have to change them in the car.

    thanks in advance

not necessarily true. if your obd1 cast manifolds came from an e34 then your exhaust will not fit without modification.

That's what I have on mine . I have to put the OBD1exhaust manifoldson my car when I go to the BAR so I'll be dealing with swapping them soon.

The last time I looked, Real OEM actually shows the same part # for the E36 & E34 manifolds.
