Not another E30 M52 swap

Whoa, so that report says that if you wait 10 days and don't do anything about it, they can take it and never give it back to you? That's totally fucked, I hate neighbors. Seriously, how is it effecting your life seeing a car in a driveway so much that you complain to the cops? -
I found some time to do some more work here and there. New lollipops from bimmerworld(i always thought they were blue, but they arrived in black)

After the bushing installation, the M52 finally went in :D

Then the neighbors file a nuisance complaint against me :(

On other more important matters, I still need to find a place to mount this remote FPR. Unfortunately, I don't have a welder to create a mount similar to that on the E36.

it's just not stiff enough compared to the PBM coilovers I had on my long gone 240sx. I decided to go with Broadway Static coilovers.. if I could get a hold of the dealer here on R3V for a cheaper price. What's wrong with your GC's? I'd just replace any parts that are broken and buy some Konis for it. If your housings are shortened or you want to go lower, grab 8641 1144SPORT (325iX) for the front, and 8041-1186 sport (top adjust mustang) for the rear (these both require new strut/shock bushings from GC unless you're somewhat handy, but those are only like $30 for a full set IIRC)Leave a comment:

That's great:D! You will likely finish before I do.. my schedule is full of work and school right now. I won't be able to pull my m20 until maybe the end of the semester. :(subscribed... I'm a little further behind than you in my build and probably started around the same time :p
I pulled my m20 first since it had a snapped timing belt.
Ordered my e34 oil pan last week and hope to pull the m52b28 from my donor car some time in the coming few weeksLeave a comment:

The weather has gotten warmer! It's time to continue this prolonged project
I have also been shopping around for a clutch/flywheel setup. So far, I'm sold to UUC's product SKU:B1-A-OE. Any other suggestions?

update.
I received some electrical pins and m20b25 pin housing from TMS, yesterday.... FYI, TMS orders from the dealership then ships you the goodies... I could have just gone through the BMW dealership near me.. Only if I knew.

This is all I got done yesterday.. Pulled the Activated Carbon Canister from the trunk and Fuel Pressure Sensor from the passenger side wheel well.
