It's a shame because they look alright.
Yeah, that's what I am thinking also. They look really good actually. These pics don't do them justice and I haven't polished them up in a while.

I've heard and experienced different things in regards to these headers. Mine fit like shiiiiit. It seems as if it's all about luck

Yep, I had the same experience. First, I had to open up the holes so that they would go onto the studs. One bank hit the passenger footwell and the other hit the subframe so I had to heat and bend one bank up, the other down. That was a PITA.

So how would you rate these new "speed daddy" headers? How was the fitment on the mounting studs? did it clear the subframe and swaybar?

this is what I did, but the collector hits the sway bar so I am going to have to grab some sway bar spacers and adjustable endlinks.

Did you not read the post that you quoted? lol

Other than the fitment issues, they have been good. I was worried that they would crack but so far it's been 18 months of hard daily driving (I go WOT all the time) and they are fine.

That looks like what I had to deal with. I welded V-bands onto the collectors also. That gave me a little bit of wiggle room with the down pipes but I still had to heat the primaries to be able to adjust the location of the collectors/v-bands.

HAHA sorry, when i read your post, it didnt register for me. i thought you had the same experience with a different set of headers. Not the speed daddy ones. Cool, thanks for the clarification. gonna stick with the obd2 headers and hopefully have them modified enough prior to engine install
