Utilizing the early model g260 with late model provisions, I rethreaded the carrier bolt without shortening it. It unfortunately fucked with the detents and has left the trans stuck in 5th/reverse. I'll have to tear that one apart...
So basically the screeching sound was from the trans being in gear. After bleeding the slave, I was able to start her no problem. I eventually picked up another getrag 260 (this time from a late model).
Everything is a go and fired up/drove first try :)
