So I went and checked out a s52 today. Everything looked good so we started the compression test. I wanted to compression test everything with the rings dry of oil after sitting but when I pulled a coilpack it was swimming in oil in number 4 and 5. Basically 4 and 5 were forced to be tested wet.
Compression came out good, 123and 6 were all 190psi after five revolutions. 4 and 5 were of course higher around 210 after five revolutions.
We then ran a wet run, everything came out to 210psi at five revolutions. They were all pretty equal on the wet run.
Anyways I walked for the time being, The guys cool and said no rush its not going anywhere quick. Should I let the thing sit for a few days and go back for a dry run? or is everything good to go?
I pulled the valve cover and it is in great shape. 135k on the clock.
