"Trace" a fuel leak? take the rubber hose out, the 8x12 one i think I was talking about from the pump to the filter and replace it. Thats the only high pressure thing, the gas isnt full enough to make the tank leak on the top, and thats exactly where the line runs. I'm usually not a betting man but I'll give you an unlucky penny if its not that line. LOL :rofl:

No really though, what else could it be? I am 90% sure that thing just got a wear pinhole in it between the tank and bottom of the seat. Often lots of rear passengers perhaps? At least make that the first thing you remove and look at.

i'm pretty close actually, i just need to start it up, i checked the fuel pressure yesterday and i dont have any. Mot has a fuel pump to back me up if i need it, also i'll need to change the fuel filter while i'm down there anyway. I haven't started the car in about 5 months so it might be gummed up. wish me luck
