    735i brake booster/cylinder

So does anyone else realize that the 735i brake booster/master cylinder is the exact same booster as the iX, and the exact same master cylinder as the E34 M5??? Everyone seems to be hounding for only those two specific ones, which are uber rare used, when you could simply find a junker 735i and have the complete assembly....

I realized that after first buying an ix booster and then buying the 735 booster that looked better, and then was going to put a new m5 mc on it. oh well. So, the final verdict is, just get the e32 735 booster mc assembly and you'll be happy.

I realized it when trying to search for the part numbers of the two components and found a site that listed their compatibility for the 3 cars. P/Ns alone are fine if you are buying new, but when you are looking for people parting out cars, trying to find someone with an iX or M5 is a "bit" harder than someone with a 735.

FYI I just found a 735 being parted, got the booster and MC assembly for 80 bucks.

FYI: It won't fit straight in place of an iX unit... the fork that connects to the brake pedal is different, and needs to be changed to the iX one.

the fork from ur current booster should work.
it doesnt need to be from an IX.

Cool, now you can afford a haircut.

                Or a black rubber band.

The rules to join the PNW Crew is you have to provide a goofy picture of yourself for identification... so there it is. :)

Don't know about the E23, but any E32 735i/735iL for sure.
