Engine won't turn over, VANOS stuck?

    Thanks for all the help guys, I know for a fact that the crank spins freely with the oil pan on, but when it was on the stand, the harmonic balancer wasn't on and neither was the flywheel. After the head went on I didn't try to turn it until it was in the car.

            Lobstrosity, I wouldn't be satisfied with ONE beer. I mean come on, I'd EXPECT a fruit basket at the minimum. Hahahaha!

              That is true. However, I would settle for one beer if he pours it into a liquid safe envelope and ships it to me. But please use USPS, otherwise I'll get hit with silly duty charges as it passes the border. :D
