I know how you feel. Im basically done with my swap and now i need something else to screw around with. Turbo? Real cheap round tail 2002 to restore? 70's chevy pickup to drag my bikes around? Im not sure yet. Whatever you do, keep an e30 in the line up. :)-ChrisComment

Funny this thread comes up.
I recently picked up another E36 M3 and just love driving it. Such a great all around car.
The e30 is nice, but lacks the civility that I like on the day to day. Not only that, but it's nice maintaining a car that was meant to be that way from the factory (that and it is insurable for fair value).
The power delivery is much smoother in the e36 than the same motor in the e30. I think this has a lot to do with the difference in diff gearing, but I'm not sure I want to drop another $300 to see.
