Whatever you do with the driveshaft you need the proper CSB for your chassis. It will fit on the e36 driveshaft.

You can use the e30 driveshaft (I am) but you will have to extend it at the splines, and it's still slightly too short.

Use the e36 guibo either way. With the e36 driveshaft it will be perfect. With the e30 driveshaft, the bolts will wiggle around in the holes, you can buy bushings to fix this. (or just deal with it, which is what most people do.)

A: Blk, Brn, Yel, Grn ??

              B: Grn/Wht, Blu/Yel ??

              C: Brn, Red/Yel Reverse Lights ??

D: 02 Sensor (The one i purchased off Ebay, the 02 plastic connector is a female, and the engine harness is female also, and they are both shaped differently) I checked the ebay auction, and i deff. purchased a e36 325i 02 sensor, so maybe they sent the wrong one..

Not really sure what A, B, and C are exactly for...??

Woops, just realized that "D" is not the 02 sensor, it goes to the MAF.

So im guessing that "A" is the 02 sensor then.

I'm pretty sure C goes to the charcoal canister check valve.

I hope yours works right, I fucked with that thing for 3 days and I still get a O2 sensor code and check engine light. GL

So i turned it over for the first time ever in the E30 and she RUNS!!! (i shut if off after about 1.5 seconds, very loud without exhaust). Very surprised i got most of the wiring correct on the first try (even though i know the wiring is not 100% right or complete, still needs some tweaking im sure of that). Now im off to go get the custom 2.5 inch exhaust made by my buddy. I still need to get is an eletric fan though.

i noticed that there was at least a few wires changed color from one side of the c101 connector to the other side of the connctor.

B is your reverse light switch. I posted a wiring schem for a 92 non vanos in another thread that tells you what wire is what for the O2.

Way to go! It feels good when it runs.

A is the O2 sensor wire, or what's left of it. Check out the thread from Mr. Swiss for a complete explanation.

It's good to know m50 and s50 wiring harnesses are the same. (at least according to realoem.)
