    ebay headers

I think this same topic has been asked, maby i even asked it, but i cant find it. What is the seller for the ebay headers? I see two that fit what i am looking for: trendy_auto and trader-nas. Both headers are probably the same but i am just checking.

    I am adding a 2nd question:
I have an ///m coupe exhaust that has very bent tips on it. I was going to cut of the tips from a e36 m3 exhaust mi have but i would rather not ruin that whole exhaust. Can I get new tips that will look just like the stock ones?

Yes...they have no kinks in them like the OBD2 headers and are equal length.

Which seller is offering these? "Tendy Auto", "Trader Nas", or "HRacing1234"?

            I'm getting a set.

I dont mean to sound like a whiny little bitch (as if I could give a fuck), but is the subject of this thread a closely guarded secret or something? Do you need to know a secret handshake? No one here wants to take a minute and share the name of the eBay seller with the masses? I'm still a noob and frankly I have more questions than answers. What about all that cliche bullshit about community. The GB thread was a dead end. It appears that the guys who have purchased ebay headers for their swap projects dont want to share any info. If any header will fit, say so. I'm sure most guys here work hard for their money and would rather get a little reassurance before they pull the trigger on an unknown purchase.

              Rant off, Flame on.

I just went on EBAY and bought the ones that were cheapest...

If you look at the pic you'll see one of the headers get smaller at the very end. I cut this part off...I mean, why go smaller right?

For connecting the exhaust to the headers buy a couple band clamps from Napa. The connectors that come with the headers won't work very well.

Kroberts, I'll be in SA the fist week in July. I have an army buddy that has two e30's that is stationed at Ft. Sam. And I diddn't know the ebay sellers, this was just a general ? on my part. :)

It goes smaller because the midpipes are different sizes. I am running 95 m3 mid pipes and the sleeves provided, slip right over both.

Why cut off something functional? :p

I got mine from "trendy_auto" on the ebayz. They had them for the smallest amount of green. I think it was 225 shipped or something close.

that doesn't even come close to answering the question you quoted. ;)

the question was on the "equal length" bit. The primaries will all be the same pipe diameter I hope. They don't appear to be truly the same length though from the pictures provided.

Easy way to measure is to stick a piece of hose or wire in each one and measure how much of whatever you stuck in the port it takes to get to the other end (or to the collector). If that number is the same on all runners, its equal length. if not, it isn't.

I wish I would have taken pics of mine before I put them in. But since they are coated, they look the same! :)
