but, for the Porsche booster, i do want the early model right? and it doesnt matter b/w 924/944... is the vacuum res really needed? and i can use the stock MC! thats a plus..

now for the mounts, where is everyone getting these green ones from? any recommendations on a urethane mount?
Why not use 320 booster with modified fork?
Green mounts are easily (at least around philly) found through any BMW dealer - they're not expensive.

Black round e24 mounts are even cheaper. and they work. Im running them in my car with maybe 1/8th inch space on both sides and the intake didnt have to get ground down at all and everything clears no problem.

Because it's easier to modify the 924/944 booster. It's the same thread pitch (clevis) as the E30 booster and it just needs to be shortened a bit. One quick swipe with a cut-off wheel and your done.

I got some black mounts which appear to be for an e28 m5, they are $13 each from fap99. They look the same as the green ones, and they worked in my s50 swap.

Yes, they are OEM and the only ones I saw were all green.
                P/N for those is: 11-81-1-132-793 I paid $30 each.

I just hope they're the same quality as OEM, because the last thing I want to see is this motor moving forward under hard braking.

How long have you had those?

I've only been using them for about 100 miles, no issues, they feel pretty solid.
Compare the pics, they looked exactly the same except for color, and it was listed for the e28 m5.
They are made by MEYLE, who I believe is an OEM supplier, someone correct me if not.

Not 100% sure, but I think MEYLE is aftermarket part.
Now, someone, correct ME if I'm wrong. ;)
