So Blunt came out the last 2 days to help me finish my s52 swap in my 90 325. We finished everthing and were trying to get the motor to fire and noticed that the crank pulley was wobbling as we were cranking the motor. So we pulled the pulley off thinking it was tweaked. We then go fire the motor again and notice that the crank bolt is wobbling as the motor is spinning. The front of the crank is bent! How awesome is that! 55,000 motor that was supposedly in a rollover. So now I'm stuck with a motor with a bad crank. We managed to pull everything out before he left but I'm basically back to where I started, only this time with a bad motor.
I'm debating on wheter to take a gamble and just have the crank replaced or just get an entirely new motor.
Pretty sweet, eh?
