getrag 250 .83 5th gear and supposedly the stongest tranny.

see if he will ship or something..

i've heard horrible things about the getrag 250. the 240 isnt for my turbo m52. this is for another a nonvanos m50.

so it's impossible to use an e36m3 clutch/flywheel in a getrag 240? i just bought a JB Racing aluminum flywheel with a 240mm friction surface that i was really hoping to use in a getrag 240..

The biggest prob is that 2 swap cars w/ the same parts can turn out completely different, ie like flipping the CSB. Just do as much research and learning as you can and use all of that to guide your swap. Don't use it as a step by step guide.
Thank you for your input. I have been using the net as a primary source of info for my swap and was surprised that this was so blatantly wrong. I turned it around today and it fit perfect.

Its a 91 318is, M50TU, G240, E36 325i 5 speed driveshaft with e30 center bearing on backwards. It seems that the center bearing is offset to one side and that by flipping it around has caused a bend. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how was it solved or not?

I've never drive one with a 3.73, and I haven't really driven the car working properly, I've only driven it with no o2 sensor for like 5 minutes. I'm putting my exhaust on tonight and getting an o2 tomorrow. It should top out at about 130mph.
