well diff is done, thought id bolt the drive shaft just to be a smart ass and see why the e36 center bearing doesnt work...well its longer by about an inch, has anyone ever just redrilled new holes, much easier than getting the bearing off and spending 50 bucks for a new e30 one..

also front sway is out, wow was it beaten on...

no kidding windsor is like the salt capital of canada, so there pretty generous when it snows.....although i cant say my fenders look any where near the condition yours are in.

alright so ive stopped slacking its been a couple weeks since ive done anything, but i started to tape everything off, and begin priming the engine bay. ive been procrastinating because this will be more of a bitch then the engine install, especially if i plan to be picky. still havent decided if im going to smooth the rubberizing on the shock towered, and ill have to bondo a couple areas no choice.

i left mine on there this is how:

The reason the bearing won't go up all the way is because of the supports for the bottom bracket.

              #1: cut those off.
#2: Measure the distance from bolt to bolt on the e30. Measure and draw the same distance (needless to say: CENTER IT), cut whatever is not needed and drill the new holes.

#3 Using the same brakets that you cut off (or use your own scrap metal) Weld new supports almost vertically (otherwise the braket will bend).

My driveshaft came with a new bearing so i just left it since removing it is a major pita.

              peeeace!
              No more e30s for me.

you da man, what are the chances that you have a pic of your setup? the bearing on mine is also new, and i was planning on drilling new holes on the car, but your idea makes sense as well.
