So the reason this car wasn't done a couple weeks ago, is due mainly to parts issues. First off, the M52 turned out to not only have a headgasket leak, but a slightly warped head, and 24 valves in need of replacing. That set us back just over a week. Also, the flywheel needed a new friction plate installed. I ended up having to mail it back to JB Racing for them to install one (way over in Florida). That should be back here on Friday. I believe we are planning on the car driving this weekend. *fingers crossed*

I'm still waiting on some misc. valve cover hardware.

    25mm brake master installed.

    Ground Control Camber Plates

Finally beginning to resemble a running vehicle.

    21.5# injectors

    Neil rigged up this baby.

Ground Control coilovers with Eibach sways

The starter is just chillin', waiting for the tranny to go in.

Whew, lotsa progress! Did you get the head redone?

I'd use fuel injection hose for the fuel lines. Sure it's $5 a foot, but you should be able to do the supply lines and little hoses that feed the rail with around 5 feet of line. Cheap insurance.

        It's not $5 a foot... it's $15 a meter! Gosh.

Kim, don't you need a chip for this car?

          I bought 5/16" fuel line (they didn't have 1/4").

And yes, I had the machine shop resurface the head (not enough to warrant a thicker hg), and they replaced all of the valves, valve guides, and seals. That was an expense that I was not expecting. I felt bad for the woman I'm doing the work for. :(

The chip from AA should be here tomorrow or Friday. :D

It is. I drove through In N Out, and nobody even noticed. :(

Btw, we aren't running any shims or anything, and everything fits. Is that normal? :?

I used 5/16" fuel injection hose that I bought at Advance Auto.

I originally bought 5/16 regular fuel hose, but I didn't use it. My only use for it now is with a screwdriver inserted into it in order to bend the heater core pipes.

For some reason I thought you were doing a Euro swap.

                            Haha, nice.

I didn't need any shims for motor clearance, I have to add a small one to clear the ebay headers over the subframe.

Yeah, mine is Fuel Injection hose too. You can see it printed on the hose in a couple of the above pics.

I am. This e30 isn't mine. I'm just getting paid to do the work. Once I get paid for it, I can pay Alex for my euro motor, which will be going into my e36.
