i'm not running ac, so i removed the a/c condenser and mounted it behind the kindey grill in front of the radiator. there is plenty of room there

why does everyone have such a hard time with this?
you want the E36 M42 thermo switch, and stock fan wiring. most 16" fans should work once you've removed the AC condensor. use the stock wiring.. fan should come on by the 1/2 mark and turn off around 1/4. if it doesn't work them something is borked with your wiring or fan relays.Comment

QFT. I seen one of your old posts when i was thinking of solutions for my pusher fan. Wired it up using the stock wiring, stock rad thermoswitch and got a bigger fuse and it worked PERFECTLY. Plus there is an override with the a/c snowflake button, another feature i like using the stock wiring.why does everyone have such a hard time with this?

BMW switch part number 61-31-8-361-787. Put it in the radiator, and call it a day.
Mines on the stock fan at the moment but i have a slim 14" in the mail. 14" because im using the 318 radiator. I plan on using the stock wiring for the whole thing too.-ChrisComment
