    E23 diffs DO fit into 6 cylinder E30s except the diff from the 745.

    Using a prybar as a lever (between the case and the flange), and the heel of your palm as the hammer, 'pop' out the output flanges. The new ones pop in more easily.

    Swap out the rear cover for an E30 cover. Now is the time to switch out that bushing.
