    What's the setup?

A 3.2 OBD-1 with a big MAF, no cats, good exhaust and good software can pull around 230whp pretty easily, can't it?

Speaking of swapping S5x parts to m50's, are the valves any different? Just curious 'casue I saw a s50 set up for sale

If the M50 is a VANOS, then they are the same. The springs are different though.

'good' software, as in custom tuning, then yes.

A 3.2 OBDI with stock MAF, stock cats, stock exhaust, and good software can pull 230whp.

Not everyone does the swap to run a 14 second 1/4.
              Truuff^^

I just wanted a more modern engine that was more reliable, didn't sound as if it was going to self destruct at a light, and got a little better MPG.
Actually having torque, and the extra 20 or so ponies was a bonus.
Plus the exhaust note 24V> 12V sry

Yup, and it would be better to rebuild a M5X or S5X than a m20.
