You will come to find that an m50/2 is the same as a US s50/2. same dimensions, bolting/mounting points, everything. Think b16 and b18 or b20 Honda. They all fit in the same space.

I like my US s50, but when it pops I'll rebuild to s52 specs. Track car, gotta have some more torque...

The fact that the sub-forum you posted this thread in is titled "24v DOHC Swaps" should have given you a hint. The fact that there are 98 pages of threads should be your best starting point on how to do it. There are a few books you may want, you'll find out about them in there, but an e30 and e36 Bentley are great tools. That and those 98 pages will get you thru it all.

You are being far too nice.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Yin and Yang, son. I gotta balance out my regular attitude from time to time.

S50 OBD-1 easier to bolt-on upgrades, no issues plus the manifold looks cooler, meaner looking

most s52 in e30s have obdI and m50/s50 manifolds anyway.
