    I just don't like the fact that everything was welded together. No way to break it down into pieces.
    I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

          Yah I'm over it now. I have that turbo manifold coming in, in a few days, and the similar set up I have NA, is what my friend has FI, and it's uber quiet. :)

            your car passes va emissions with no cats? the m50 swap car i just got has what looks like twin bullet mufflers in place of the cats to an ansa muffler. it used to be registered in va...no idea if it will pass inspection that is required in nova.

            edit: just checked va dmv site...if car is 25 yoa or older, no emissions inspection. mine is an 85...no inspection! whoo hooo!

                that job looks well done,.......BUT..why such a hard turn after y pipe?....it coulda been much softer.....Im sure they did it for aesthetics and getting pipes back under oe location and heat shielding.

                and....why a cat, reso AND muffler?...........leave out reso....

                  I have an M50, I am thinking of getting these parts for my exhaust:
                  Vibrant Performance Standard 12 inch Resonator
                  Vibrant Performance Flat Black Universal Muffler 2.5" Center In x 3" Dual Out 1148
                  And have the shop so 2 inch all the way back. I have an E36 y-pipe, should I just have them use that? I cant find an aftermarket y-pipe..

                          AM = aftermarket

                          Meaning, there are a lot of people that make y-pipes. Flowmaster, Magnaflow, and Dr. Gas make universal y-pipes. SPD, Burns, etc., make custom y-pipes.

                            Ah, sorry. I was looking at the magnaflow, I'm assuming the exhaust shop will just adapt the y-pipe to my eBay header even though the pipes are different sizes. Do you think this is a good combo? Shouldn't be raspy, correct? Thanks and sorry for my stupidity on the "am"!

                              Hey Gents,

                              I am looking for the largest dual in dual out muffler I can fit in the E30 mounting attachments. Anyone have any suggestions/part numbers?

                                More or less what my setup looks aft of the headers. Due for a revamp soon.
