    M52 with S52 cams, I superimposed a stock M20 graph on there.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Pretty sure those dyno graphs just put all of the non believers in that it has to be an s52 or boost to be worth it to shame. Damn good numbers madjurgen

Ahh, ok. I saw that it was from TX so I figured it might have been yours.

Actually, the last 2.8 we built made about 20whp more than that...

Anything more than S52 cams, boltons and 93oct tuning?

                    Yes.

M52, S52 cams, 84x84, NA. It was a mildly built motor, can't be any more specific than that.

Would US spec S50 or S52 cams fit a Euro M50 vanos engine?
I'm currently looking at building an iron block (M50) 2.8 vanos lump and I'm looking for information/ideas etc.
                      Cheers, Ben

I just got some S52 cams installed into my M52B28 running M50 intake and MSEFI. Very happy with the result! These are surprisingly different cams...I'm having to make significant differences to the fuel table on the MSEFI...on the tune for the stock cams it's running very rich at around 1500-2500rpm (like 10:1 AFR)...it's then running lean from about 3500 up. I'm slowing getting the tune sorted for the cams...but so far it feels like a very noticeable gain in power. Will eventually get some dyno time...will post plots. Biggest downside is my PID setings for the idle control are now up the shit - so have to spend some time on that too.

I get the feeling that it's really helping the intake and extractors all work very nicely together.
