I went with the schricks and everything else becuase Nick G already has a tune for this set up. It should be somewhere between 450-465whp.

My big challenge is going to be running a correct suspension and wide wheels/tires. I plan on rolling the fenders and installing lowering springs or a coil-over conversion kit. Either way, the car needs better suspension. Once the ride height is ideal, I need to figure out the proper offset and width to fit the widest tires out back. Hopefully I can squeeze a 245 40 17 or a 255 50 16 back there with minimal rubbing.

I also need to locate m-tech side skirts and rear bumper cover. When I find them and install them... she will off to the paint booth to get sprayed either white or black... Not sure yet.

Hopefully it will be complete in October, November time frame.

255 will definitely fit with some rolling.

I test fit some 275's before. They were a bit tight but might almost be doable with the right offset/springs/roll job.

Damn that's a lot of rubber! I'd love to launch my car with some 275s on the back of it! It would be like having AWD! :D

                          Thanks!

Unfortunately I will not be able to provide pics or video until October sometime. All the parts are sitting in my buddy's garage. Some stuff will be installed before I get back and I will have to install some of the parts to include the M-tech kit. I also have to get the car painted and I have to get new wheels, both of which will be done after I get back.

I have been tossing around the idea of going with a T-trim as well. Many experienced guys say to just forgo it and throw a turbo on the S50. I really love turbos and I honestly like them more than a supercharger but I think the T-trim will fit nicely. I will see how much power the V2SQ/S50 yields and go from there.

The definitely needs paint but I am not sure I will paint in the original color.I not to keen on the gold. What do you guys think? I was thinking white, silver or black.

Osh at RMS has gotten 500+ whp on a fully built T-Trim S52. I'd say an S-Trim is plenty for an e30. You wont be able to use the 400whp it already has to its full potential. You need to tub/flare the fenders with atleast 275s out back, and reinforce the rear subframe for sure.

If you search for the s52 turbo e30 with the Corvette 4 link rear suspension, I think you'll have a better idea. His car has 562whp on a gt35r.

Here is a clip to one of his first videos with a mild tune:

                            With a better tune:

And his totally badass 4 link set-up in action!:

Yeah I have seen it. It is sweet! We will see how how much tire I can fit under her and then I will go from there. Stuck on BFC has 400whp and he sad he has no issues with traction and he is running 235 17's all the way around. if I can run 245 or 255 in back I think I will be good to go. As I mentioned before, my M5 weighed 4k w/driver had 275's and with 400whp I could pull 1.8 60fts. 450whp in a 2900lb car should be easier to launch.... If I can run sub 2.0 60fts... I will be running very low 11's

How can you compare an e39 m5 to an e30 when you're talking about launching. The m5 weighs over 1000lbs more, has a longer wheel base, better weight distribution over the rear wheels, and bigger tires. I guarantee you that Jordan does not drag race his car, he auto-x's it. You WILL have horrible traction issues on a slick track. Most people get wheel hop into 3rd gear with bolt-on s50/2s and 235s on the track in an e30. 245s or even 255s wont help you much with double the power.

Realistically for a good launch and to pull those 60 fts, with out burning the hell out of your clutch, you will need at least 255 drag radials. I'd say shoot for 275s if you can. I will eventually get an S-trim RMS stage 2 kit, which will put me at around 350whp. With that kind of power, I want at least 275s, so I can hook up and GO!
