i think that link is for obd1 conversion in an e36

i'm not surprised. everytime i've left messages or been told that they will follow up with me on a question they never do. not terribly impressed by the turner operation.

if your using obd2 then no. this is for obd1 e36 cars.

So why can you not just clip the brown wire with red stripe and run the single wire plug off the old E30 harness to the E30 sensor? That's how we wired mine, haven't started yet but in theory no reason it should not work.
