    Its uploading.

    Here you guys go.

The Catback was custom made by DMS and myself and is a direct bolt on to the e36 midpipes (obd1 or obd2).

EDIT: that was only 5.5k rpm revs... to early and loud for neighbors.

Is that two 2.25" pipes? I'm not digging the sound...

I'm not going to re-tune the car until I do the cams, and the top-end. The re-tune would be pretty pointless considering that I'm going to need a new one with the cams and head work. :woowoo:

Hopefully you put down nice numbers, I still have an issue with my car that needs to be figured out before I dump any more money into it.

And unles you go flares, then the supercharger will be pointless. Even with 2.73 gearing and decent rubber you won't hook up till mid 3rd at best. Fogure out your suspension and traction before putting that much power into the car. My two cents. ;)

Once I finish the cams+top end, I'm done blowing money on cars till I can save some $ for a down payment on a house. However, my next project will be an ls6 into my mom's W124, which will be mine for free when I want it. :nice:

I may go with re-grind cams on a later note. That's if I don't invest on a supercharger kit first.

Polak, did you re-tune your car yet? I'll be dyno'ing my car soon. Once I get my obd2 mid-pipes on with my stock e36 m3 exhaust I'll hit up the dyno. Hopefully my numbers are good. (crossed fingers).

He can do any profile that you want. I want to copy Sunbelt's because they're proven, and have great tunes for them. You are correct about a different angle on the lobes with more aggressive cam profiles, but this can be compensated for with bigger valves.

BTW, Matt did you get your car tuned yet?

I agree. Gotta love em, and way cheaper than new ones.

Delta cams in Tacoma, WA is really good as well, know lots of m42 guys do them for regrinds.

    Here's the break down guys:

    50-80 for m52 cams w/ trays from a junkyard/forum

250 to regrind the pair at American Custom Cam (look them up on google, very knowledgable guy here in good ole Cali)

Sell cams for 250-350 on r3v or bfc.

So at this point the least you have spent is 70, and if you got lucky your up 20 on the cams themselves.

Next, Bimmerworld has about 9 different tunes for the cams ranging from 260whp-280whp depending on how peaky you want the cams to be, if you have euro headers, and motor work, etc. for $549.

    $549+$70= $619 at worst

    $549=$20= $529 at best

Of course you should upgrade valve springs and either buy Bimmerworld's Vanos limiter, or buy the Dr. Vanos Stage 2 (which I will be doing). :pimp:

However, I'm gonna do the whole top end, timing chain, and upgrade the water and oil pumps when I do cams.
