I had fitment issues with my SS knock offs. It really sucked sence my whole exaughst system was done at that point too. -
Those are knock off headers, i can almost guarantee that there will be fitment issues. :pLeave a comment:

Hopefully I don't have any clearance issues. I shouldn't have to to space anything because these were made to fit a stock e36 with stock midpipes. Plus, I'm using a ix/735/750 booster and the fins already have been shaved. =P We'll see how this works out.Leave a comment:

You may have clearance issues with the front mid pipe, so be ready to space the motor up on the right side. You will probably have to shave the fins off the intake manifold if you're using the 320 booster.Leave a comment:

Alright. I'll get the headers. They bolt up to my obd1 midpipes which is why I'm looking to get these. Its done then. Now I gotta wait on them Lol...Leave a comment:

Has anyone ran these headers? Would there be any clearance issues with the frame?
Hope they don't mind me using the picture for now.Leave a comment:

Ha. I demand vids too! Just don't wanna record when this thing is squeeling and sounds like a noob car but is really fast. I'll get one up soon after I get this thing running.

Can you take a closeup of your brake fluid reservoir without the intake boot on?Leave a comment:

you shoulda bought the light flywheel from these guys on ebay.
16lbs and you can still use the unsprung clutch. i think the flywheel is like $245.
i bought this for my car, the pick up is really nice.
Since I took my tranny off and found out what was wrong... and its out right now, I'm opting to buy a clutch kit. Any recommendations of possible kits (future reference going boost in a year or two). I've heard people running m5 clutch disks, with iono. Could anyone give me a what I need exactly to run that m5 clutch disk? Suggestions would be nice. =)
Edit: Never mind, I'll hold off on the clutch kit. Nothing was wrong with my shit. I'm a total noob. I guess I failed to notice that I put the clutch disk in with the wrong side facing the transmission which is why I had all that high pitch screeching noise. DUH. I owned my face. It never came to light that I was working on a dual mass flywheel, and considering a dual mass flywheel's clutch sits out farther, it would only make sense that the protruding end of the clutch needs to be pointed at the engine with the flush side facing the transmission. God I'm so retarded... All could have been well if I only did it right... Oh well you live and you learn. First 24v bmw motor I've worked on boy are they different from m20s. LOL.
First but not my last...Leave a comment:
