    Mustang dyno specs? So I'm assuming he's putting more power on a regular dyno jet?

      I've seen mustang dynos that aren't calibrated to mustang dyno specs. I've seen two identical dynos sitting next to each other in the same shop that don't even read the same.

        Ouch, those nembers are pretty low for an OBD1 S52...

        Interested to see what a good tune brings you up to!

          one thing that i did notice from my dyno @ rms was that i got 2 graphs the wheel and crank hp... 187 crank and thats with headers/s50 cams and ebay software.... im running a m50 and someone tell me what the stock hp is on a m50 agian? i forgot... 189 right.

              Looks like the maf, injectors and a tune will do a lot for you to Zaven! You afrs are worse then mine, and you're running even richer up top then me.

                  its funny how reality is always more dissapointing than hopes and dreams.

                  it does look like a better tune could get you some more, it's pig rich up top. The rest of the AFRs aren't too bad, it probably needs mostly ignition tuning (and subsequent fuel retuning).

                  so much for 200whp M50NV's with bolt ons. :p

                    You're right Nando, but I think i would be a lot happier with a better tune. I never thought that a Jim conforti tune could make so little power.

                          hey i just had MACOY from TRM tune my car s52 OBD1 540 MAF, 24lb Injectors, UUC stage 2 fly wheel with m5 clutch, 3" exhaust, and bimmerworld throtle body boot and i dyno at 224whp and 215wt im happy, i lost about 5-10 WHP because of exhaust but i did it that big for the future project of turboing it ( Saved me about 1000 bucks down the line on reduing it when turboed)

                              ^ Well I switched out dmes with Matt (Mr. 325) who has a tune for the mods I have except for 19lb injectors...the end result was a significant loss in power. I don't know if it has anything to do with my tune being an s50 tune vs. obd1 s52??? The guy at turner said that the chip I got was the proper selection for my swap and mods...

                                I understand what you're saying Brew, and I've seen the attitude that the e36 guys have towards them on BFC. However, I saw the results with my own eyes in E30 Fiend's tune, and felt the difference in the butt dyno! Osh definitely made a big improvement upon Mark D's tune! I also had a chance to speak with Osh at the dyno day, and I think he's a really great and knowledgable guy.
