Dyno graphs from RMS...interesting results

Have you tryed the chip from racers market?

I may buy one from TRM if the dyno proves poor once again with the Conforti tune after cams. I'm trying to be as thrifty with my money as possible. ;)

Chris, don't do anything else with your tune unless it is to MAYBE straighten out your afr...

I highly recommend you wait until you have your cams and anything else you may want to add down the line. At least wait until you have your cams so you can have a tune for the right stuff. Anything you do now will purely be a waist of money unless it's free of course. Don't mess with the dme until you're for sure you are gonna stay with those mods for a while. Even then you can always get a tune, and if you do add anything else down the line you can just get an update of the chip...

Ya that's the plan, even if I could make more power now...it'll need a retune for the cams anyway! :mrgreen:

I understand what you're saying Brew, and I've seen the attitude that the e36 guys have towards them on BFC. However, I saw the results with my own eyes in E30 Fiend's tune, and felt the difference in the butt dyno! Osh definitely made a big improvement upon Mark D's tune! I also had a chance to speak with Osh at the dyno day, and I think he's a really great and knowledgable guy.

Just remember- peak numbers aren't everything, and they may come at the expense of reliability and longevity. The closer you push your tune to the edge to eek out that last 10 hp, the less headroom you have when you get a bad tank of gas, bad fuel injector, etc, etc.

Wow, mine is actually very similar to yours even with stock e30 exhaust and a hobbled VANOS system. Can't wait to see what it's really capable of!

Schricks = less then $200 (m52 cams and trays $60, $300 regrind, sell my cams for $300, get $100 tune upgrade from turner)

Sunbelts = atleast $600

So your getting your cams reground to schrick specs? Were can you get Sun Belts for $600 I'll buy 3 set's for all my car's.
