For a real ceramic coating you need to take it to a shop, they run usually around $200 for an inline 6.

I didn't know you could ceramic coat the inside, thats awesome. Does a shop have to do it or is there a DIY way to do it?

Copy that. I was unaware that they were coating the inside of headers. Makes perfect sense!

I haven't got my exhaust on yet, but I will be rocking my 3 foot resonator in hopes of killing the rasp, it worked on the M42 and that was BAD.
I just hope the free stainless steel exhaust I got isn't too loud, or I will have to pair some different mufflers with it that I have laying around.

Much appreciated Janderson. Looks like a fine setup you have there. I'm particularly fond of the way the whole thing tucks underneath as well as the dual tips that shoot straight out the back. Any guess as to why yours has no rasp at all, even without cats?
I'd like to think my shop could merge my headers together with a y-pipe as well as jam a cat in there before the first muffler.
Be sure to post up a sound clip if you ever get the chance to make one. I, for one, would love to hear it!
Any opinions on the Aero Stealth mufflers (to be used instead of a borla for the mid muffler) that are also for sale through verociousmotorsports.com?

I'm using a 2.5" single in/out Borla ProXS, and a single 2.5" in Vibrant StreetPower. My headers are ceramic coated ebay Supersprint reps with a Flowmaster 2-into-1 Y. The whole header/Y assembly is ceramic coated, and I have NO rasp whatsoever. Perfectly quiet at idle, and loud when you get on it, but it sounds amazing while out just cruising around. And when you stand on it, it sounds SO MEAN. I do get some crackling/popping when I rev-match, but other than that, it's really perfect. Tucked up in there nice and tight, too.
Here's a couple shots of the headers:
And here's the completed system welded up under the car:

I'm considering going from my shorty headers -->2.5in pipe---->a cheap cat (suggestions?)--->borla----->vibrant dual outlet
Can anybody suggest the ideal Borla, and Vibrant models for such a project...not sure about muffler lengths and offsets etc?
I'm assuming a good shop should be able to tuck all of these pieces neatly underneath the car.
I'm thinking it should be pretty similar to Polak's but with a little less volume and rasp due to the cat.

With that muffler, how did you get it so it doesn't swing around that much? Where did you mount the hangers?
