you would have to chat with alex. I know there are a few options..... from just the dta - to - dta w/ harness that will literally plugs into your dme connector.....preloaded with a base map. Pricing is VERY competative when you think of what your getting. cheers, jason

Only track or has a minor in street usage?
mostly track, some minor street (if the salt ever clears off our roads. )

No payroll here..... just a hobby. If there was a payroll...... i should have bought an gt3 cup car!

    cheers, jason

correct. however, this was just the first go around. I was just so excited i just wanted to post something about it.

After chatting with bob, alex, al, ect...... there seems to be confidence that the dips can easily be trimmed out and another 20ft lbs added across most of rev range.

in all honesty, bob (dyno guru) only had enough time to dial the intake cam once, and then dial the exhaust cam once...... there is a lot of fine tuning to be done.

    regardless...... i am very pleased.

im sure alex (abl originals) will pipe in here soon. He is selling the plug and play kit for the s54.

    cheers, jason

this is the pinkie car..... code named (from my brother in law) "rose."

    its been 16months so far.....

as you can see, it has been a LOT of work. without my buddy john, it would still be rusting on my garage floor. But this is the pinkie car.

I've found that one of the hard parts in tuning the M54 is knowing what to do with the cams, now that I have control of them. I suspect the S54 will be the same way. Do you have data on what previous tuners have done for VANOS advance/retard schemes?

aaahhhh. you caught me. actually its for the leaf blower i am hooking up to the intake. since the electric one on ebay was worth 100 horse, i am guessing i can squeeze an extra 200 horse out of the craftsman gas model. ;)

    cheers, jason
