I didn't buy an adapter from anyone, unless you meant the OP. I modified the harness quite a bit anyway, the X20 to C101 was nothing. :p

I was more curious as to what that feature does. I don't see running a wire as a big deal to have it working the way it's supposed to.

Greg, I was willing to work with you to straighten out your car, but you started bashing me on here instead. As far as I know you tried none of our suggestions.

If your solution to a motor that isn't running right is to swap in another motor, you don't get to blame the chip.
hahah typical matt reaction to Deflect first and call into question the customer/car/motor/whatever as we all know its never the tuners fault...

well first off my car did have the speed sensor hooked up from day one and your retune made less power than the first tune right off the bad. not to mention driveability was horrible

second I tried all of you suggestions from retiming the cams to getting new injectors and it fixed nothing on top of that when you relized your tune was the problem you blew me off and stoped returing my emails and phone call for 4 months until I started (like many others) bashing your product.

moreover you refused to refund my money after your tuning (for my car) was proven with out a dought in the main problem.

hell even talking to nickg and others about it all of them agreed a s52 camed m52b28 should make more than 18something hp and 166tq and not have a 14:1 afr??

btw I still would like my $400 some odd dollars for the crap tune you sold me and Ill eat the dyno time and cost

3rd I did a v8 swap becouse I wanted to because I was tired of the bs and wanted more power reliably

on that note I know your a site sponsor and you pay money to be on here so IM not going to try and talk anyone out of anything this is just my experience with the guys at trm.

    M52TU.

There is no chance they will fit a regular M52.

If I do it I'll send you the old cams and you can compare the journals, timing wheel and helical gear specs with those motors.

ZHP cams in an M52? that would be interesting.

    Displacement!

BTW, ESS is selling a complete factory ZHP cam kit with gaskets and everything for $299. These are 10.0mm/10.0mm 248/248 vs the 9.7mm/9.0mm 240/244 Intake/Exhaust stock M54 cams I currently have.

I think an s50 has 10.2/9.7 252/240, so these would help close the gap on the top end for me.

From all your work with dual-vanos cars, do you have any idea if those will work in 323s and 328s or just 325s and 330s?

    Thanks!

you'd have to couple it with a shorter diff/higher redline. it just changes where you'd shift is all.

very unattractive...i had that setup in line.

i sourced out an m52 with around 200k on it for 500$, and was going to ODB1 it....but im going to go with the s50 cam setup since i was basically barked at by other e30 junkies, that it will make more power than the m52, and close power to s50.

I would be willing to bet the chip has a speed control delete if it doesn't I can show you how to add the wire to hook it up but pm matt about the chip first

on another note I had a lot of problems with my TRM tunning (driveability and performance) on the old m52 that was in the v8 car before it went v8. but I seem to rememberer my dyno graph also having a "hick up" aswell.

I can post the dyno sheets if needed
