I have has 3 customers in the past week wanting E30 and E36 S54's and although I like B..m.r....ld their cost of 3200 is a bit much for people to swallow. If you are offering for sub 2K I am sure people will be alot more willing to do this.

EWS removal + post 02 cats simple. But, For those who want to run E85 or Alpha N or custom tune w.e they've got so many other options so hit them up.

Out of curiosity, if one gets the swap kit from you, Mark, and down the line decides to use another tune from Epic/Evolve/erc, is that possible? Or would subsequent tunes from a different company invalidate the swap codings?

You are lucky you live in the USA, since the postal rates there are a fraction of what they are in Canada.

So around $1445 USD today plus around $200 for round trip shipping would be about right? I was hoping those European guys charged more than that! ;)

Thanks Pete! I don't mind if you bumped it after a week, that helps people see it :D

I haven't downloaded any but I know they are available. I'm sure they're cloned versions of somebody else's work, though.

I hate how people are using software that sells for around 2000 Euros or more with all the checksum modules, but they got a free version. Then I have to compete with these guys who have almost zero $ invested, That's why some of them sell files for $300. And the $30 cables are clones of what European companies developed, along with the hacked software that comes with it. But there is a very good chance you can toast an ECU when flashing it with those cables. And some of these guys are selling files that they didn't even create themselves.
I've spent time to make my files unreadable with the clone tools by changing the seed keys.
well, I was talking about freeware (for tuning just spark and fuel maps), not neccesarily the "hacked" stuff. I've looked into the hacked stuff - it's not going to do you any good with MSS54. If you're talking about WinOLS, the cracked version is completely useless. IDA Pro without developer support is like climbing Mount Everest in your underpants. You still need licensed software to do anything useful. The only other possible method is copying files that are already edited, as you say.
